I wanted to leave my feedback for all prospective Landlords and tenants in case they are wondering whether to go with high street estate agent or online one, like ‘Lettingproperty’. The service I received was excellent. The house was rented in days. The referencing was done quickly and they chased the tenants when needed. As I am renting my house and relocating with a new job I am also looking for a flat for myself. The high street agents (the one I had to deal with) are awful. They don’t turn up for viewings, they don’t call you to let you know what’s happening and when you think you have a property, they simply give it someone else (as they could move in a week earlier). Of course not to mention the extortion fees they are charging, enough to put any tenant off. Referencing fees like £120, inventory report £200+ and so on. Perhaps one may be able to swallow this if they were providing good service but they are not. Not to mention what they charge you as a landlord, in some cases almost one month rent, which is crazy if you ask me. Anyway, I think high street estate agents will soon become obsolete, like Blockbuster, because they charge extortionate fees and provide mediocre service. The good service goes as far as taking your property on, once you signed with them, they take their time and let your property when they can. So if you are a landlord or thinking about becoming one, please save your money and don’t fall for their stories “we have pre approved tenants waiting” and go with the online estate agent such as Lettingproperty. The process is a lot easier than you think and you will be in control. Communication is great, you can call them any time, if you email them they will respond in a matter of hours, so yes I recommend them.
Simple process, put us in touch with the landlord straight away to organise viewings and sort out the furnishings of the house. Great - would use again!
I have used LettingAProperty for three years and have gone through a few residents with them. They are always supportive from start to finish - offering ease of referencing, tenancy agreements, handing of payments etc. When needed they are also able to offer expert advice. I've recommended friends to use their service.
Well structured and user friendly website. Very good communication and support over the phone/email. Overall very pleased with the service provided to me as a landlord.
The person I forbidden and her team at Lettingaproperty, were fully fantastic in their service I cannot fault them in the least. Always came my calls gave answers did as taught Fantastic company. So many alternative lease firms to observe at however you guys operate Would suggest and use once more.
I cannot recommend LettingaProprty enough... they have been absolutely fantastic. It is the first time I have let a property and the whole process has been absolutely seamless. The product they offer is fantastic value for money and you really feel like a valued customer. The team check in to see how things are going, they keep you up to date with things that are happening and they are so efficient. Honestly, I cannot think of anything that i wasn't happy with, brilliant team! Thank you everyone.

Our tenant surprised us by announcing that she was going to move out five months earlier than the end of the contract- which was seriously problematic since we are overseas landlords and had not planned on being back in London anytime soon. She was in a difficult situation, but she also put us in a very difficult situation- which was awkward and tense for everyone but must have been particularly so for the team at lettingaproperty. Regardless, their response time was impeccable, their responses thorough, and they did everything in their power to facilitate an agreement that suited everyone. I also appreciated that they showed kindness and empathy where the tenant was concerned (always encouraging in my book especially as so many estate agencies behave like vultures with only profit making in mind), but it was still clear that, ultimately, they were on our side. They also reduced other costs where possible (again- priority is on service, not profit), and included a service or two free of charge that boosted the overall end result. Ultimately, we managed to save ourselves a trip to London because lettingaproperty handled the vast majority of our needs. We could not be happier with this company! My only suggestion would be to obtain some kind of office mobile phone that can be used for whatsapp or skype calls. I feel this would drastically improve the overall service, particularly with regards to overseas landlords- depending on where you are calling the UK can be very expensive! This is because all the emailing can be very time consuming, misunderstandings can easily arise when emailing, and a phone call is much better for establishing a cordial working relationship. Just my two cents though, and this doesn't detract from the fact that we are thrilled with lettingaproperty.
