If the animal eats plastic,\nthey can\u2019t digest it. The plastic fills their stomachs, so they starve to\ndeath.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Tough reading, we\nknow and it\u2019s exactly why we want to do something about it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Limbering up to support a great cause!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This July, all of our team will be swapping their trainers for trekking boots and our coffees for coconut water (it\u2019s good for hydration!) when we embark on the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.threepeakschallenge.uk\/welsh-three-peaks-challenge\/\" target=\"_blank\">Welsh Three Peaks Challenge<\/a> in aid of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcsuk.org\/\">Marine Conservation Society<\/a> to support the Wonderful Welsh Seas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"cta\">We are raising money for the <strong style=\"user-select: auto;\">Marine Conservation Society<\/strong> &#8211; a UK charity dedicated to protecting our seas, shores and wildlife! <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"you can support us here (opens in a new tab)\" style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.justgiving.com\/fundraising\/lap-team\" target=\"_blank\">Please support us here<\/a> &#8211; any donations are much appreciated!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019ve been with us for more than three years you may recall that we we did a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justgiving.com\/fundraising\/lettingaproperty\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"similar walk in Yorkshire in 2016 and raised \u00a31500 for Help for Heroes (opens in a new tab)\">similar walk in Yorkshire in 2016 and raised \u00a31500 for Help for Heroes<\/a>. We felt amazing doing this, it was great for our team morale and we were delighted to have given back to a great charity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the course of the next few months, you\u2019ll be seeing some regular\nupdates from us, our training wins (and fails) and how we\u2019re getting on in the\nlead up to the big first day, on the 12<sup>th<\/sup> July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whilst we\u2019d love any financial support you can offer us, we absolutely\nwon\u2019t expect this \u2013 just a few words of well wishes along the way would be\ngreat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We Love Wales | Rydym wrth ein bodd \u00e2 Chymru<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re pleased to be entering a new period of growth for the business \u2013 our launch in to the Welsh rental market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following sustained\nlevels of interest from Welsh landlords over the years \u2013 and\ntheir appetite to use our service to support them with their properties \u2013 we\nmade the decision at the beginning of the year to train our staff, apply for a\nlicence and start in this new and growing market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re now accredited with <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Rent Smart Wales (opens in a new tab)\" style=\"user-select: auto;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rentsmart.gov.wales\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rent Smart Wales<\/a>, an initiative which launched in 2015 to ensure landlords and agents provide accurate and up-to-date information about themselves and their rental properties, and can\u2019t wait to help more landlords and tenants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an accredited agent, landlords in Wales can now benefit from our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lettingaproperty.com\/guaranteed-rent\">Guaranteed Rent<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lettingaproperty.com\/rent-on-time\">Rent on Time<\/a> plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your move into the Welsh Market<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re considering <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lettingaproperty.com\/landlord\/blog\/becoming-a-landlord\/\">becoming a landlord<\/a> in Wales, here are a few points to note:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It\u2019s\ncompulsory for landlords and agents to register with Rent Smart Wales and, if you\u2019re managing the property yourself,\nhave a licence.
