How do I display my to-let board? <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are actually a few rules to follow when putting up a to-let board. Under most circumstances, planning permission will not be required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the property you intend to rent out is for residential use then you can either have a single board or two boards which have been joined together to form a \u2018V\u2019 shape. If you opt for a single to-let board then this should be no bigger than 0.5 square metres. A \u2018V\u2019 shaped board should not be any larger than 0.6 Square metres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your property is intended to be let out for commercial or agricultural purposes, then the single to-let board should not exceed 2 square metres and the double \u2018V\u2019 shaped board should be no larger than 2.3 square metres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You must also make sure that it does not protrude more than one metre from the wall of your property and should not be illuminated in any way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highest part of the advertisement should be no more than 4.6 metres above ground level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
