Jonathan is Co Founder and Chief Executive Officer of LettingaProperty.com.
He has a 10 year managerial tenure in property sales, lettings and financial services at a national level within the UK market. Originally from South Africa, Jonathan returned to the UK in 1999 where he purchased his first apartment in London directly from his landlord. After refurbishing the property, he sold it on to turn a profit. This was the start of his love for property. Since then, Jonathan has been involved in property investment, buy-to-let, financial services, professional residential letting and conveyancing.
Jonathan’s valued experience working for, and on behalf of, private landlords and sales and letting agents has encouraged the company vision statement to focus on achieving a high quality of service to our valued customers.

Land & Development Consultant
After gaining a degree in Town and Country Planning, Lyndon Forshaw enjoyed a short but successful career as a musician and DJ. He went on to help establish one of the UK’s leading dance music distribution businesses.
Like most people, his first venture into the property industry involved the purchase of a small buy-to-let house. Using profits from the distribution company, Lyndon invested £28,000 in a run down, two bed terrace which he renovated and rented out. Over a seven year period, that original investment was leveraged to amass an £8 million residential and £2million commercial portfolio.
However, despite owning 80 houses, he realised there was a limit to how much regular income could be earned from buy-to-let. He broadened his outlook and moved into developing. His first small development of eight houses returned a profit of over £250,000 within around 18 months. He was hooked!
Lyndon has gone on to complete a wide range of development projects including apartments schemes, luxury barn conversions, retail sites and commercial premises. He also self-built his own 7,500 sq ft family home in Bolton.
Lyndon also deals in land. Using his expert knowledge of the planning system, he secures potential development sites, obtains planning consent and then sells the ready-made schemes to other developers at a healthy margin.
More recently he’s moved into retail and residential site finding, earning substantial introduction fees by sourcing suitable development sites on behalf of major retailers and development companies. Last year he helped to launch LandLounge.com, one of the UK’s leading resources of quality development land for sale.
As well as continuing his refurbishment, development, land trading and site finding activities, Lyndon is set to share his extensive knowledge of the industry via his new property education and mentoring venture ukpropertyexpert.com.

Business Development Manager for Simple Landlords Insurance
Ian has 18 years experience in the Mortgage, General Insurance and Buy-to-Let Markets. 16 years were spent at Halifax plc (part of HBOS plc) in roles such as, Mortgage Adviser, Branch Manager and Mortgage/General Insurance National Sales Development Manager.
Ian is now the Business Development Manager for Simple Landlords Insurance. Whilst the Landlords Insurance and Tenants Reference business are his areas of expertise, Ian also looks to develop opportunities for the companies’ popular Travel and Wedding Insurance products.
In his hometown of Halifax, West Yorkshire, during his spare time Ian enjoys listening to music, playing the guitar and watching sports as well as playing cricket and umpiring in the Halifax League. Ian also loves to spend time at the coast with his partner and little boy.
