Landlords will be given the opportunity to influence the development of a new energy grant for Gloucestershire, which could help to improve lettings in the future.
Energy efficiency is a theme that runs through this year’s event, which is sponsored by Darren Evans Assessments (DEA), a local company committed to building energy efficiency. Attendees will be able to meet with DEA representatives on their stand at the exhibition.
The Landlords Expo is organised jointly by six local councils; Cotswold District, Stroud District, Cheltenham Borough, Gloucester City, Tewkesbury Borough, Forest of Dean District. The aim of the event is to disseminate good practice and keep landlords informed of legal requirements and issues of importance to the private rented market.
Sir Henry Elwes KCVO, a long standing landlord himself, congratulates the Gloucestershire’s councils in working together to organise the event which is aimed at supporting the local letting market. He said:
“I commend any landlord, big or small, to visit the expo and learn from both the experts and each other.”
